About me
Hi there!
I am Anju, a Ph.D. student at Colorado State University. I am co-advised by Dr. Nikhil Krishnaswamy at the SIGNAL Lab and by Dr. Bruce Draper. My research falls under Representation Learning in Multimodal AI, investigating how vision-language models encode, represent, and process 2D object orientation properties. I also have some experience in affordances, Machine Learning for methane emissions classification and rainfall estimation, building cloud infrastructure for client server communication etc.
I did my Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Madras, India. Previously, I worked at Subex Ltd., Intel India Pvt. Ltd and Oppo US Research Centre. Apart from my thesis work, I have also been very fortunate to be mentored by experts in their respective fields — Jerry Duggan, Dr. Craig Partridge, and Dr. V Chandrasekar — during my GRA positions at Colorado State University (CSU), and by Dr. Angela Yao at National University of Singapore (NUS) for a short internship.
